Elizabeth Bowerman has worked in the print industry for 35 years, beginning her career as an Office Junior. Over the years, as her knowledge grew and she progressed, she took on various roles in production and client services, finding the most rewarding aspects to be those that involved building strong client relationships.
Having worked with some of the most recognised brands in print management alongside production roles, there are few print products she has not either procured or produced. She has extensive experience advising on artwork, concept design, and final output to ensure that client requirements, expectations, and timelines are met.
Elizabeth’s passion for print sparked her desire to explore ways to encourage young people to enter the industry. As a parent of two - one of whom has special needs - she became acutely aware of the importance of highlighting career opportunities within the sector to those unfamiliar with it. This led to the launch of the Young People In Print (YPIP) initiative in March last year. The initiative has been well received by industry peers and is now multi-award-winning.
